Edos Squid in Richmond

IMO the best/most authentic in town. Fra diavolo is amazing, and huge portions. Broccoli rabe is excellent, probably the best thing on the menu. Tiramisu is great. Only complaint would be that the pasta is nowhere close to al dente, for those who like it that way.

Amazing food, huge portions, attentive waiters. The mussels were delicious, the mixed seafood spaghetti and the meat sauce were fantastic. However, it is quite noisy, and the fish are quite expensive.

The food was most excellent! Finding the place, or rather, knowing we were entering the correct place, was a little tricky, and even on a Wednesday night, holding a conversation was challenging because of the noise level from so many patrons in a small space with such tight seating. Waitstaff was attentive and polite. The atmosphere may come as a shock to first timers with no warning, or someone looking for a more intimate dining experience, but the food was amazing.

I had the rock fish!!! It was delicious!! Very bold in flavor and filling as it was served with pasta. The fried squid was great as well. The seafood mixed pasta was great as well. It was spicy.

Sausage, Broccoli Rabe - a meal to rave about! A perfect amount of heat spices this pasta and Italian sausage dish. I crave it. Huge portion allows for ample leftovers fit for another meal. Lunch time is my favorite time to go; relaxing with great people watching from the second floor windows overlooking Harrison. Perfection.

Their squid tastes really fresh. Taste like a fresh cut squid not from the frozen one. Their pasta size is kind of 1.5x than one personal size. Will come back for other flavors next time.

I always have a fantastic experience here. The atmosphere makes me feel as though I were in little Italy in NYC. The place may seem chaotic but I feel that only adds to the charm. However, be forewarned, show up on time for your reservation but be prepared to wait ~15-30 minutes. Also my most recent visit saw food that was WAY over-seasoned. However I love this place and will continue to frequent it as often as I can.
